$.17 in two days? give me a break.
I looked at a new (to me) car last weekend that the dealer says gets approximately 28 mpg; which is about 10 mpg more than what I get now. It was such a great car. Cute, red, fast, black leather interior; totally not practical. I covet it.

We drove to Redding California last weekend in my brothers Jetta. Its a TDI turbo diesel. On the highway, we got 56 mpg, and bombing around Redding we got 47mpg. The entire trip was 1300 miles and i spent pretty much exactly $100 on gas TOTAL.
Now, its not a fast car, but its real nice, solid. When my Dodge stratus finally blows up, im gonna take a good look at these Jetta's
